PACEC 54TH ANNIVERSARY
The Philippine American Communities of the East Coast (PACEC) has been serving the community for the last 54 years ! Formerly PCEC, the only organization that brought four (4) blue babies from Manila to NYC for the life saving heart surgeries, the first to organize the Philippine Independence Day Parade on Avenue of the Americas in 1973, the original sponsor of the Miss Philippines USA in the tri-state area, the only group that organized Debutantes Ball at the former Waldorf Astoria Park Avenue NY for ten long years and most recently, has included Health Fairs in Queens.
Due to changing of times, PACEC introduced a concept of honoring mothers and families in the community by creating a 1st Mrs PACEC, Mrs Filam and Mrs Charity, also recognizing and honoring Outstanding Grandparents , Social Entrepreneur, Community Leader, Healthcare Advocate and Family of the Year ! With the younger generations joining PACEC as officers, it will continue doing community services and will continue creating more projects that will embrace the old and younger generations !
